AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Graham Clark Carpenter, 53, of Augusta, GA., beloved husband of 27 years to wife Faye Adams Carpenter entered into rest Monday, May 16, 2005, at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, GA. after a short illness. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. tonight, Friday, May 20, 2005 following a visitation from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. at Platt's Funeral Home, Evans, GA. with Reverend Sherrell Dunn and Reverend Thomas Klose officiating. Mr. Carpenter was born in Columbia, South Carolina on April 25, 1952 to mother, Mildred Clark Carpenter and father, the late Lt. Colonel William Brunson Carpenter. Mr. Carpenter worked for 26 years as a production supervisor at EXGO Textron. He had lived in Augusta since 1963, was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and attended Augusta State University. Mr. Carpenter was a member of Curtis Baptist Church. Additional survivors include one daughter, Abbeygail Iren e (Abbey); one son, Zachary Clark Carpenter (Zach); two sisters, Cameron C. DeLoach and husband Dr. Daniel DeLoach, Savannah, GA, and Nancy C. Satcher and husband Edward Satcher, Newberry, SC.; one brother, William Carpenter (Billy), Atlanta, GA.; and seven nieces and nephews.
