AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Casteva Wright Armstrong, of Forsythe Street, entered into rest Thursday, May 12, 2005 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church with Rev. Dr. Alton Pegues officiating. Burial will be in Walker Memorial Park. She was a native of Burke County, GA, retired employee of University Hospital as an X-ray Aide after 39 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church where was served as President of the Usher Board for many years. Survivors are her daughter, Everleen Grant; one son, James Smith, Augusta; two sisters, Brinnie (Bobby) Plowden and Hattie Mitchell, Augusta; one brother, William (Dorothy) Wright, Augusta; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five aunts; one uncle; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Wright, Jessie Wright and Alberta Wright, all of Augusta; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
