Mr. Hayward Hileman (AIKEN, S.C.)



AIKEN, S.C. - Mr. Hayward Wetzel Hileman, 70, of Carriage Dr., Aiken, beloved husband of Helen Swindell Hileman, died Friday, May 13, 2005 at his residence. A native of Doddridge County, W.Va., Mr. Hileman was a son of the late Homer C. and Bertha Leeson Hileman. He was a retired bus driver from the Washington, D.C. Metro Transit Authority. He had lived in Aiken for 18 years and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three daughters, Deborah A. Brunotts, Panama City Beach, Fla., Carol Jones, Nokesville, Va., and Brenda Bowles, Mt. Pleasant; a son, Hayward L. Hileman, Aiken; two sisters, Betty Law, Akron, OH, and Eleanor Armstrong, Aiken; a brother Homer C. Hileman, Jr., Boston, Mass.; four grandchildren, Chris L. Jones, Renee' Gray, Rochelle Hileman and James E. Rambow, Jr.; and a great-granddaughter, Avery Rose Gray. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Shellhouse-Rivers F uneral Home with The Reverend Dr. Rodney K. Powell officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Don Armstrong, Dewayne Gray, Paul Straight, Jim Rambow, Jerry Brunotts, Jim Jones and Chris Jones.
