Mr. Claude E. Devor (HEPHZIBAH, Ga.)



HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Claude Edward Devor, age 53, of Hephzibah, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at the VA Hospital in Augusta. Mr. Devor was born on June 1, 1951 to Keiko Kanasaka and the late Claude Devor in Yokohama, Japan. He designed irrigation systems for Piedmont Landscaping and Air Conditioning. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to his mother, Mr. Devor is survived by his wife, Lori Ann Stacks-Devor, whom he married on October 31, 2004; two daughters, Coral Stacks of Savannah, and Sapphire Hullinger of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Barbara Sneed, of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Joe Devor, and his wife, Joanne, of Aiken, Robert L. Devor, and his wife, Jane, of Clairmont, Fla., and Michael Devor, and his wife, Carol, of Alabama; one niece, one nephew, and several cousins.
