WHAT'S BEING PUSHED: The recently released Make Believe

TRIVIA: The band's debut was produced by the Cars' Ric Ocasek. Frontman Rivers Cuomo was studying at Harvard when the band's debut was released and has put the band on hiatus several times to continue his studies. He has one semester left.

Mr. Cuomo practices an extreme form of meditation that involves total isolation for 10-12 hours at a stretch. The video for the band's current single, Beverly Hills, was filmed at the Playboy Mansion and features an appearance by Hugh Hefner.

Between Weezer's first and second albums, Mr. Cuomo had his right leg broken and lengthened. It had been 44 millimeters shorter than the left.
