The Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation and the Hephzibah Fire Department will hold the 16th annual Give Burns the Boot drive Friday through Sunday. Firefighters will collect donations for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation. The foundation's mission is to educate the public in burn awareness and prevention, support medical facilities to care for burns and to assist burn survivors in their recovery.
Black Tie Gala
The 100 Black Men of Augusta Inc.'s Black Tie Gala, An Evening of Elegance, will begin at 7 p.m. Friday at the Gordon Club Ballroom at Fort Gordon. The CSRA Humane Society will hold a microchip clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Pet Center, 425 Wood St. at Milledge Road, past Lake Olmstead Stadium.
