As much as the elitist liberal media establishment - a.k.a. the voice of the Democratic National Committee - chooses to lambast U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay about the amount of traveling he does, take note of this: The House's and Senate's top-10 travelers are, for the fifth consecutive year, Democrats. At the top of the list are Maxine Waters and John Breaux.
By the way, for those who wish to ascertain the facts, Mr. DeLay ranks 121st in a tie with Sen. Barbara Boxer, each with 14 trips - half of Sen. Hillary Clinton's tally. So, to The New York Times, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and The Washington Post, print that.
And while we're at it, Dan Rather can come out of retirement to tell the truth for once before he shuffles off this mortal coil. Then again, trying to find facts presented in an impartial fashion by any of the DNC's foot soldiers would, I guess, be the equivalent of trying to find a gnat in a huge pepper shaker.
