Look around for Medicare fraud

As a resident of the Augusta area and a former employee of East Georgia Community Mental Health Center, I am compelled to voice some facts as well as a few of my own opinions.

I was employed with Community Mental Health during the Mike Brockman era, and let me make it clear that as a clerk for this place we were billing Medicaid every day, and several times a day, for false visits. Employees were calling these severely suicidal teens asking, "How are you, today?" and billing for hours of office visits that never took place. I can only speak for the adolescent part, because that is the area in which I was employed, but I would bet all other areas were run in the same manner.

I also know for a fact that Duncan Fordham is one of the finest, most caring people that I have ever come in contact with. He has made sure that the poor and needy always had the medicine they required. Money was never the issue. He has provided free medication to anyone who was in need. This man has paid for Christmas, birthdays and living expenses to more than one family in this area. I will be glad to tell you how I know this: A few years ago he provided Christmas for my three kids while I was going through a bad time.

This town is out of control. and people need to look at the entire picture. and not just what the legal people want you to hear. Medicaid fraud is everywhere!
