A rant for Laura Bush's little comic skit. Maybe she should invite Bill Clinton over ever y so often to watch Desperate (Housewives) with her.

All we hear on our televisions is about the runaway bride. Every channel. We have two planes down in Iraq with our men in them, lost possibly. Isn't anybody thinking about anything else important? And this runaway bride thing that's taken over every channel is absolutely sickening.

A rave to the community involvement in Sunday's celebrity softball game. A lot of hardworking volunteers, players and businesses came together to benefit the homeless animals of the CSRA Humane Society. A rant to those of you in Augusta who complain there's nothing to do , and a huge rave to Angela Hillsland , who coordinated this event.

Woody Merry's Citizen Action Committee is so named because its previous name , Committee of 100 , sounded too (a) elitist, (b) conspiratorial, (c) silly to anyone who can count, (d) all of the above.

This is a huge rant to the parents and especially to the ministers who let their daughters wear their prom dresses with off the shoulders and bare backs to church on Sunday after prom night. I understand that they would like to get more wear out of the beautiful dresses , but let them go out to a nice restaurant to dinner or have a party, but please not in the sanctuary of the church.

I was at the Harvest Crusade, the Christian get-together at the civic center. It was fantastic. It's the best event I have ever attended. What melted my heart so much was to see so many young adults that went to the altar. It was amazing. More people should get involved with God because Jesus loves you and he is watching.
