Return of Harvest Table has new hours, service

Harvest Table Buffet is reopening its outlet on Washington Road.

The restaurant, which opened last April at 2501 Washington Road and closed six months later, has been renamed Harvest Table Lunch Express. Dana Kelly, a manager at the Harvest Table Buffet on Gordon Highway, said the menu at the Washington Road location will be the same Southern favorites. Unlike the Gordon Highway location, it will be open only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday-Friday.

"What we're trying to do is cater to what worked better there," she said. "We want to make it fast so people can get in and get out."

The interior remains unchanged, but service is now exclusively self-serve. All-you-can-eat dining is $7.50 for adults, $4 for ages 7-12 and $3 for ages 4-6. Takeout is available for $3.69 per pound. Call 733-0643.
