NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Janie Houston Roberson entered into rest March 13, 2005. Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Houston Roberson will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Spring Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Delbert Nero officiating. Interment will be in the Spring Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Roberson served for over 63 years as a member of the ushers ministry at Spring Grove Baptist Church and ten years as a member and chief of the ushers ministry at North Augusta Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Janie M. Jones, Mary Lou Hampton, Barbara Roberson, North Augusta, and Julia (Willie) Cook of Columbia; three sons, John (Darnella) Houston, Missouri City, TX, Willie (Kathy) Roberson, Saylorbrough, PA and Robert Roberson of North Augusta; a devoted family friend, Lessie Johnson; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; godson, Steven Huff, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
