AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest at Forrest Lake Health Care, on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, Mrs. Beatrice L. Ballard, wife of the late George Ballard. Mrs. Ballard was born in Thomson, GA and lived in Augusta since 1989. She was a member of Belle Terrace Presbyterian Church and a retired nurse. Surviving family members include a cousin, Elizabeth Stanley of Thomson; devoted friends, Ronald and Barbara Means of Augusta, Junita Still of Queens, NY, Eleanor Artis of New Jersey, Elizabeth Walker of Augusta, Mary Hewett of Augusta, Rita Red of Kissimmee, FL and Allison Means of Augusta. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2005, at 11:30 a.m. at Belle Terrance Presbyterian Church , 2454 Golden Camp Rd., Augusta. Rev. Melvin Lowry officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Mrs. Ballard will lie in state at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the service. The family will receive friends Friday, March 18, 2005 from 7 to 9 p .m. at the funeral home.
