Rants and Raves

I just want to know if it has become an option to purchase a renewal tag for your vehicle? It makes me angry to see so many people with expired tags driving around Augusta. I saw a vehicle the other day with a tag that expired in 2003. Do you mean to tell me that no law enforcement officer has pulled up behind this vehicle in two years? Come on!

TO THE PERSON ranting about south Augusta: Crime is everywhere you go. I lived in Columbia County for 12 years. I experienced two break-ins and a car theft. I've been in Hephzibah for nine years and have not had any problems so far. There are plenty of nice neighborhoods in south Augusta just like it is in Columbia County.

WHY ARE THE city officials so intent on building a new judicial center when the law enforcement center is such a disgusting and unhealthy mess? They just keep digging us further in wasteful debt, and we keep letting them!

THE RECENT LOSses of life in Atlanta were tragic for both the families and friends of the victims. Yet among the chaos, has anyone taken a moment to realize the date of the month on which this happened? The 11th.

THIS IS A RANT for a judicial system that allows someone who commits a crime like murder in a court of law with plenty of witnesses to enter a plea of not guilty.
