The Augusta Recreation and Parks Department will hold baseball/softball registration for boys and girls age 5-17 through Friday at Diamond Lakes, Eisenhower, Fleming, May Park, and W.T. Johnson. Hours will be noon until 6 p.m. For more information, call 796-5025.
A free baseball and softball clinic with the Silver Bluff High School baseball and softball coaching staffs will be held Saturday at Jackson Ballpark. The clinic will be from 8:30 a.m. until noon, and includes a free hot dog lunch. The Harlem Globetrotters will play the New York Nationals at 7 p.m., March 11 at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center.
