NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Dorothy Kemmerlin Wadford Arant, 80, of Robinson Drive, North Augusta, died Monday night, February 28, 2005 at University Hospital, Augusta. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg. Pallbearers will be Larry Kemmerlin, Gerald Culler, Willis Culler, Tommy Dawson, Michael Arant, Curtis Arant, Sandy Franklin and Marion Kemmerlin, Jr. Mrs. Arant was born March 8, 1924 in Orangeburg. She was the daughter of the late Walker Wise Kemmerlin and the late Maggie Syprett Kemmerlin. Survivors include her husband, Robert K. Arant, Jr. of the home, one daughter, Tessa W. Cook of Mt. Pleasant, SC; one son, Jim L. Wadford, Jr. of Columbia, SC; three grandchildren, Angela H. Martin of Mt. Pleasant, Megan W. Turner of Laurens and Leah W. Inman of Columbia; three great-grandchildr en, William Symons, Joshua Symons and Brandi Jordan, all of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters, Janie K. Culler of Orangeburg, Ruth Wardlaw of Tulsa, Okla. and Vivian K. Dawson of Orangeburg; one brother, Clyde Kemmerlin of Orangeburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
