Mrs. Maggie Hobbs (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Monday, February 28, at the University Hospital. Mrs. Maggie Hobbs of Daniel Street. She was a native of Burke County, Georgia, and a member of Keys Grove Baptist Church, where she was member of Club #1. She was retired from the Bethlehem Center after 33 years of service and Shiloh Community after 10 years of service. Survivors include four daughters, Ms. Brenda Hobbs, Ms. Janice Cooper, Ms. Denise Hobbs, and Ms. Sandra Hobbs, all of Augusta; one brother, Mr. Charles (Mozelle) Key, of North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2005, at 2 p.m. from Keys Grove Baptist Church, Keysville, Georgia, with the Rev. Ricky Dent officiating. Funeral processional will leave the residence, 1066 Daniel Street, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Historic Dent's Funeral Home Serving the CSRA Since the 1800's.
