AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Ronald Davis Harmon, Sr., 54, husband of Mrs. Peggy Harmon of Hicks Street, entered into rest Monday, February 28, 2005 at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta. Survivors in addition to his wife include his sons, Ronald "Ron" D. Harmon, Jr. and Richard Darrell Harmon; daughters, Reba Desiree' Harmon and Rhonda Denise Harmon; brothers, Chandler Harmon and Ebbie Doolittle; three grandchildren, Destiny Denise Harmon, Chelsey Amber Gracie Chavous and Cameron Frank. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Hatcher, Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors on today at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Terence McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Reid Willis, Mike Doolittle, Joe Pardue, Eddie Fagean, Travis Fagean, Thomas Lemacks and William Doolittle. Mr. Harmon, a native of Augusta, was the son of the late C.C. Harmon and Mamie Ruth Redd. He had worked for twenty-three y ears at Sibley Mill, most recently as a supervisor. He was also a self-employed painter. Mr. Harmon attended Story Mill Road Baptist Church.
