Mr. Ronnie Harmon (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Ronald Davis Harmon, Sr., 54, husband of Mrs. Peggy Harmon of Hicks Street, entered into rest Monday, February 28, 2005 in St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta. Survivors in addition to his wife include his sons, Ronald "Ron" D. Harmon, Jr. of McCormick, SC and Richard Darrell Harmon of Martinez; daughters, Reba Desiree' Harmon and Rhonda Denise Harmon both of Augusta; brothers, Chandler Harmon and Ebbie Doolittle both of Augusta; three grandchildren, Destiny Denise Harmon, Chelsey Amber Gracie Chavous and Cameron Frank. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Hatcher, Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors on Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. with the Pastor Terence McLaughlin officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Reid Willis, Mike Doolittle, Joe Pardue, Eddie Fagean, Travis Fagean, Thomas Lemacks and William Doolittle. Mr. Harmon, a native of Augusta, was the son of the l ate C.C. Harmon and Mamie Ruth Redd. He had worked for twenty-three years at Sibley Mill, most recently as a supervisor. He was also a self-employed painter. Mr. Harmon attended of Story Mill Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
