Two Bulldogs get extra eligibility
The NCAA granted two Georgia players ñ defensive end Will Thompson of Warner Robins, Ga., and defensive back Albert Hollis of Sacramento, Calif. ñ a sixth year of eligibility as a result of injuries suffered during their careers.
Thompson and Hollis will be seniors in 2005.
Hollis came to Georgia in 2000 as a highly recruited running back, but a serious knee injury required a long recovery period. He has practiced at tailback and defensive back and appeared in a spring game, but he has not played in a regular season game.
Thompson has started 24 games and has 81 tackles and 9.5 quarterback sacks in his career.
