Ms. Mildred Farber (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mildred Glasser Powell Farber, 94, entered into rest Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at Westwood Nursing Facility. Graveside services were held Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at 4:00 PM in Westover Memorial Park with Rabbi David Siruell officiating. Ms. Farber was a resident of Augusta, a former member of Congregation Children of Israel and was affiliated with many Jewish organizations. She had worked in Augusta as an insurance agent and was an avid golfer. Survivors include one daughter, Robin Silverstein, Augusta; three grandchildren, Lynn Jackson, Alpharetta, GA., Louis Silverstein, Augusta and Mary Silverstein, Decatur, GA; two great grandchildren, Sam & Bernie Silverstein, Augusta and one sister, Harriett Glasser, Baltimore, MD.
