Lynx take second in a row from Florida

Defenseman Rod Sarich scored twice in the Augusta Lynx's 4-2 win against the Florida Everblades on Tuesday in Estero, Fla.

Lynx forward Colt King wrapped up a three-goal first period as the Lynx beat the Everblades for the second consecutive time. Jamie Johnson's empty-net goal with three seconds left rounded out the scoring.

Goaltender Jason Saal stopped 37 shots as he celebrated his 30th birthday with his first win in six games.

The Lynx played without forward Todd Bennett, who coach Stan Drulia said Wednesday was recovering from a cut on his cheek and a concussion suffered in a collision Saturday and that he had not broken his jaw as was previously reported. Drulia said he wasn't sure how long Bennett would be out, but hoped to have him back next week.
