Sherill Baker finished with 14 points and Megan Darrah added 10 for Georgia (15-5, 4-2 Southeastern Conference), which rallied from a six-point halftime deficit.
Tan White led Mississippi State (14-4, 3-2 SEC) with 22 points. Rebecca Kates added 15 and Tiania Burns scored 11.
Georgia shot 44.1 percent from the floor and held Mississippi State to 36.4 percent shooting.
