CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Chioma Nnamaka scored 19 points and Stephanie Higgs added 18 as Georgia Tech beat cold-shooting Miami 62-46 Sunday in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Nnamaka shot 7-of-10 from the field and had six rebounds to help the Yellow Jackets snap a three-game losing streak. Jessica Williams added 10 rebounds for Georgia Tech (11-5, 2-3).
Tamara James paced the Hurricanes with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Miami shot only 29 percent from the field.
Miami (8-10, 0-5) dropped its fifth straight and remained winless in conference play.
