Mr. Wallace L. McCullough, Sr. (HARLEM, Ga.)

HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Wallace L. McCullough, Sr., 78, beloved husband of Weesa Forehand McCullough, of 58 years, went to be with our heavenly father on Wednesday January 19, 2005, leaving many loved ones and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday January 22, 2005, at the Powell Baptist Church, Harlem, Ga., with the Revs. Harold Ritchey and Randall Whitaker officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 PM in the Bascom Cemetery, Hiltonia, Ga. Mr. McCullough, a native of Millen, Ga., was the former owner of AllSouth Refrigeration. He was a Mason with the Landrum Masonic Lodge #48 for over 50 years, and a member of the Powell Baptist Church. He was in the graduating class of 43 from Millen High School and he attended the Quarterly reunions faithfully. He was the son of the late Fred W. McCullough and Ila Oliver McCullough. He was preceded in death by two sons, Freddy McCullough and Ray Mc Cullough. Survivors include his wife, Weesa Forehand McCullough; one son, Wallace Lee McCullough, Jr., of Roswell; daughter and son-in-law, Dale McCullough Daniel and Dale P. Daniel of Demorest; adopted daughters, Farrah M. Payne and husband, Randy, of Harlem and Jennifer M. Pittman of Grovetown; granddaughter Michelle H. Haynes and husband, Jeff, of Austell; grandsons, Wallace Lee McCullough III, of New Orleans, Louisiana, Christopher L. McCullough and Sean D. McCullough, of Alpharetta; great-grandchildren, Macie Pittman and Toby Pittman, of Grovetown; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nell and Allen Baker, of Evans and Mary and Lew Stewart, of Warner Robins; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby A. and Jerrie McCullough, of Martinez; and many other family members including nieces, nephews, aunt, uncles, and cousins, throughout Georgia. Pallbearers will be David Pavliscsak, Richard Baker, Chris Murphey, Robert McCullough, Chuck Meadows, and Paul Morgan. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Bascom Cemetery Fund, c/o Ray Forehand, 1449 Waynesboro Highway, Sylvania, GA 30467. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the church service.
