Soul sensation Alicia Keys is scheduled to perform at Augusta's Bell Auditorium, 712 Telfair St., at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27. Tickets will cost $35-$50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
Ms. Keys entered the national spotlight in 2001 with her piano-driven debut, Songs in A Minor. The album, which combined old soul, jazz and modern R&B, sold more than 5 million copies and earned five Grammy Awards. Her follow-up, 2003's The Diary of Alicia Keys, has sold more than 3 million copies.
