Mrs. Willie Belle Gilbert (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, Mrs. Willie Belle Gilbert of Wheeler Road. She was a native of Lincoln County, but had made her home in Augusta for many years. She was a retired secretary from Horton School and was affiliated with Piney Grove Baptist Church, Forest Hill where Rev. Willie Jackson is pastor. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alice Strong, Augusta and Mrs. Virginia Gunby, Detroit; two step-sisters, Mrs. Rosa Maude Brown and Mrs. Ida Pearl Edmundson, both of Washington, D.C.; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Bell Bentley, Piscataway, N.J. and Mrs. Lillie Bentley Hardman, Dallas, Ga.; a godchild, Mrs. Olga McKinney, Augusta, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
