After viewing the Christmas parade in Augusta, I thought I would share more things to do to bring families together this holiday.
Now that the children are out of school, take them to the library. Many libraries have placed Christmas books for easy access for the children to pick their favorites. ...
I have picked:
• The Spirt of Christmas: Creative Holiday Ideas, released by Leisure Arts.
• I Spy Christmas: A Book of Picture Riddles, released by Scholastic Inc.
• The Grolier KidsCrafts Christmas Craft Book, published by Grolier Education.
That's just to name a few. Ask the librarian for more ideas if none of these are present; she can suggest many others. Also, your local bookstore can find you a few rare books on the subject.
Just an outing with the family is great. I visit the libraries each Saturday. But any day is great. My children appear to be busy all week long, but truly enjoy the outings we have prepared through the years. ...
