Mr. Ray Canaday, Jr. (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, December 17, 2004 at the Medical College of Georgia. Mr. Ray C. Canaday, Jr. of Wrightsboro Road. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. John Lyons officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mr. Canaday, a native of Fort Mead, Maryland. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and he was formerly employed at Georgia Power Company; and a veteran of U.S. Army. Survivors are his wife Josephine Canady, two daughters, Ocia Canaday, Trechia Canaday, Augusta, Ga., one son, Ray C. Canady, III; Augusta, Ga., Mother, Fannie Evans, Augusta, Ga., three sisters, Margaret Ann Fowler, Los Angeles, Calif.; Pauline Owens, Ann Johnson, Augusta, Ga.; one brother, Thomas Evans, Augusta, Ga.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clemmie (Francener) Bush, Sr., Augusta, Ga., five grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives fr iends.
