Can the grammatical nitpicking

I consider teacher Renee Toole to be my friend. I think she is a very good human being. And I think the fact that she shares her talents with our greatest human resource, our children, we should consider ourselves lucky. I will be fortunate if my daughter one day participates in one of her classes.

If someone has a problem with Mrs. Toole's grammar, and feels so strongly about it ("Teacher's grammar was appalling," Dec. 9), kindly bring it to her attention. Don't hide behind an anonymous forum or write a letter to the editor. Believe me, there are more important issues.

The error on Mrs. Toole's part was a grammatical faux pas. The reaction looks more like a vendetta. Try being nice.
