India's Randhawa wins Masters of Asia

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - India's Jyoti Randhawa won his first title of the year, capturing the Volvo Masters of Asia on Sunday by beating Australia's Terry Pilkadaris on the second playoff hole.

Randhawa sank a 15-foot birdie putt on the second extra hole in the final event of the Asian Tour season.

"It was nerve-racking, but I handled myself well," he said.

Randhawa closed with a 5-under-par 67 and Pilkadaris shot a 65, putting both at 274. Third-round leaders Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand and Wang Ter-chang of Taiwan both had 72s for 276.
