TULSA, Okla. - Jillian Robbins had 20 points, 18 rebounds and nine blocks Sunday as Tulsa beat Georgia Tech 55-47.
The Golden Hurricane (7-0) rallied from a 27-20 halftime deficit by holding the Yellow Jackets (5-1) to 19 percent shooting in the second half.
Kara Pongonis and Tandem Mays each scored 10 points for the Golden Hurricane, which won despite committing 23 turnovers and shooting 33 percent.
Chioma Nnamaka had 14 points to lead the Yellow Jackets, and Stephanie Higgs came off the bench to score 10.
Georgia Tech shot only 27 percent for the game and was 2-for-12 from 3-point range. The Yellow Jackets made only 7 of their 18 free-throw tries, including 5 of 13 in the second half.
