Fernando Aviles has joined A.G. Edwards & Sons as a financial consultant. He is a graduate of Augusta State University with a degree in finance. He earned his accredited asset management specialist degree through the College of Financial Planning.
Chris MacInnis has been promoted to regional vice president of operations for CareSouth and will be responsible for all agency operations in Tennessee and North Carolina. Mark Kimsey has joined CareSouth as a regional vice president of operations and will oversee all agency operations in Alabama and in parts of Georgia. Jim Barlar has been promoted to senior vice president and will be responsible for agencies in parts of Georgia.

Johnson Motor Co. has been recognized by the Cadillac Division of General Motor Corp. as one of its top pre-owned vehicles dealers. The car dealership ranked 20th in total pre-owned vehicles sales of all Cadillac dealers in the nation.

SRP Federal Credit Union won first place in the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Recognition Award for South Carolina credit unions in the $200 million to $500 million asset category. The award acknowledges credit unions that demonstrate a high degree of social responsibility through their community programs. This is the second year SRP has taken the honor.
Bobby Jones Ford is sponsoring a $1,000 scholarship to be awarded to a local high school FFA member next spring. The dealership has participated in the Ford Trucks/FFA Scholarship Program for the past six years. The program is designed to recognize the academic achievements of FFA members.
