BELVEDERE, S.C. - Mr. Charlie Tillman, 59, of River Circle entered into rest November 3, 2004. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Tillman, a native of Edgefield County was a member and deacon of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. He was a production supervisor at Savannah River Site, a 1964 graduate of W. E. Parker High School and a Vietnam Veteran. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mealing Tillman; two sons, Terrence (Glorianne) Tillman, Augusta and Dr. Tywaun Tillman, Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Minnie Nickerson, Belvedere, Parthenia Tillman and Shirley Tillman, Trenton; three brothers, Willie G. Tillman, James (Flora) Tillman, North Augusta and Henry (Vernell) Tillman, Trenton; three grandchildren; aunt, Addie Quiller, North Augusta; sisters-in-law, Cressie Tillman, Effie (George) Lanham, North Augusta, Julia Mealing, Newport News, Va. and LaRosa (Frances) Johnson, Charleston; brothers-in-law, Samuel (Loretta) Mealing, Brooklyn, Henry (Bernice ) Mealing, Beech Island, Warren (Clarinda) Mealing, Alfred (Minnie) Mealing, Grover Mealing, Larry Nickerson, North Augusta and Daniel Mealing, New York City, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
