Mrs. Evelyn Rhiel Wandrey (AIKEN, S.C.)



AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Evelyn Rhiel Wandrey, 95, died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at Cumberland Village. A celebration of her life will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Cumberland Village. Burial will be Wednesday in Cumberland, WI. A native of Elmwood, WI, Mrs. Wandrey was a daughter of the late John and Amelia Wild Rhiel, and the widow of Fred H. Wandrey. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - River Falls and was a retired English and history teacher with the Green Bay City Schools. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, the AV Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the Monday Afternoon Shakespeare Club in Green Bay. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Green Bay, and had lived in Aiken for the last 3 years. Survivors include her daughter, Mary W. Huebner of Aiken; four grandchildren, Deborah Williams, Kansas City, Mo., Kristin Wogahn, Eau Claire, Wis., Andrew Huebner, Greenville, S.C., Jennifer DeVries, Grand Rapids, Mic h. and seven great-grandchildren.
