Mrs. Lucille C. Marshall (HARLEM, Ga.)



HARLEM, Ga. - Entered into rest November 4, 2004 at Saint Joseph Hospital, Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Lucille Combs Marshall, 98, wife of the late Mr. Jabeus "Ollie" Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 2004, at the Harlem Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip Vestal officiating. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Monday November 8, 2004, in the Marietta National Cemetery, Marietta, Georgia. Mrs. Marshall was a native of Wilkes County and a resident of Harlem since 1932. She was a retired school teacher and a member of T.E.L. Sunday School Class and Harlem Baptist Church. She was an avid gardener and loved to quilt and crochet. She crocheted baby afghans and caps and donated the items for the "Little Premie Angels" at the Medical College of Georgia. She was a member of the VIP Harlem Senior Citizens. Mrs. Marshall was loved and will be greatly missed. Survivors include nephews, Charles Combs, Cody, Wyoming, Marshall Combs, Atlanta, George Magruder, Columbia, S.C., John Combs, Harlem and nieces, Paula Goodrich, Sandersville and Martha Cross, Augusta and several great nieces and nephews. If so desired, memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, Ga. 30904, or to the Harlem Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 790, Harlem, Ga. 30814.
