Mr. James Cephus Maddox (MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.)



MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - James Cephus Maddox, age 8,1 of 301 Muirfield St. died Thursday, November 4 p.m. at his home after an illness. Mr. Maddox was born in Augusta, Ga., a son of the late Robert Lee and Daisey Mae Hardy Maddox. He was a member of the Surfside First Baptist Church, and the American Legion, Augusta, Ga. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta, Ga. where he lived fro m 35 years before moving to the area in 1987. Surving a,e three daughters, Sandra Symonds, Murrells Inlet, Beverly Jackson, Murrells Inlet, Donna M. Moore West Islip, N.Y.; one brother, Wilbur F. Maddox, Augusta, Ga.; two sisters, Mae Foster and Doris Stone, both of Augusta, Ga.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
