This is a rave for Judge Blanchard. I was in his child-support court last week. I have had no child support in a year from this deadbeat dad. I'm the mother of two teenage schoolkids; my kids and myself just want to say thank you for your help in finally getting justice.
I HAVE A SON IN THE PRISON system. I wondered if I can scrape up $70,000. The Richmond County judges - you know who I'm talking about - I wonder if they'd set him free. I don't have $70,000, but I can borrow, beg and do whatever it takes to get it if it'll set my son free. Judges need to think about this.
THIS IS A RANT for the Richmond County judicial system. It's a shame that a person can be sentenced to 10 years in prison for selling drugs more than once. Because they have money, they can buy their way out of it. Does this mean that our laws are only meant to be enforced against poor people, that if you have enough money you can buy your way out of it?
I AM THE SISTER of a convicted drug dealer. He only got six years, and that was not enough. I think it is sad a judge would let someone pay a drug dealer out of jail, especially when it's not their first offense. They're out there and they're distributing drugs to children, which is killing children. This is horrible. I will never shop at Davis Appliance again.
I'M FROM EATONTON, Ga. We brought my husband down to MCG. He had broken my glasses, and I went over to Dr. Leonard Willensky's office. His receptionist was so nice. They fixed my glasses, didn't charge me anything and also brought me back to the hospital to keep me from walking back over. There are nice people in this world.
