TRENTON, S.C. - Entered into rest Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at the Medical College of Georgia. Mr. Elzia Knight beloved husband of Mrs. Fannie M. Knight of Sandy Springs Road. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 31, 2004 at 2 p.m. from Young Macedonia Baptist Church (North Augusta), with Reverend Allen L. Transou, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 30, 2004 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors are his loving wife, Fannie M. Knight, Trenton, South Carolina; two sons, John (Betty Jean) Knight, Trenton, South Carolina, Robert L. Knight of Martinez, Georgia; four daughters, Louellen (Ruben) Freeman, Mae Bell (Bennie) Butler, Jeanette (Stanley) Johnson, Winnie (Albert) Bryant, all of Trenton, South Carolina; three brothers, Roosevelt Knight, Washington, D.C., Henry and Larry Knight, Trenton, South Carolina; one sister, Marie Knight Loman, Trenton, So uth Carolina; three brothers-in-law, Tommy Mealing, Charlie McCain, and Milton Loman, all of Edgefield County; eleven sisters-in-law, Susie Nealous, Hattie Mealing, Sallie Mealing, Georgia Knight, Janie Quarles and Lona Freeman, all of Edgefield County, Irvin Knight, Washington, D.C., Mattie Knight, Glassboro, New Jersey, Geraldine Knight and Lillie Mae Abrams, of Augusta, Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
