I don't understand why some Augusta commissioners didn't see the wisdom in accepting the Citizens Review Committee's recommendations for SPLOST.
Why did some Augusta commissioners add on a worthless and expensive extra list of projects none of us want to pay for, and in doing so destroy the entire SPLOST V effort?
Hopefully, the SPLOST ballot will fail so we aren't asked to deal with the budget deficit by paying more property taxes. I hope commissioners will give us a SPLOST V referendum that is reasonable and not full of pork.
