There he goes again. My good friend Larry Jarrett demonstrates that he doesn't understand economics, defensive warfare or diplomacy ("Next president needs our prayers," Sept. 29"). After using five paragraphs to attack President Bush's efforts to defend America in these difficult times, Jarrett asks us to pray for whoever is president.
Rather than putting an editor's note regarding his military background, there should be a note stating that Jarrett is a John Kerry supporter and a yellow-dog Democrat.
The fact that I served in the Marine Corps Reserve makes me no more qualified to advise your readers than does Jarrett's service in the Air Force.
