Mrs. Carolyn Raley (MACON, Ga.)



MACON, Ga. - Carolyn H. Raley died October 2, 2004 in a local nursing home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004, in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park's Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 on Monday, October 4, 2004, at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Mrs. Raley was born in Spartanburg, S.C. on June 11, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Alfred B. and Lena Kitchens Hattaway. She was a member of Tatnall Square Baptist Church and the Ruth Bible Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Raley and son, F. Robert Raley. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Raley Fortson (John) of Apple River, Ill.; sons, Bill Raley (Daphine) of Mitchell, Ga. and Joel Raley (Diane) of Bolingbroke, Ga. and eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund of Tatnall Square Baptist Church at 4925 Zebulon Road, Macon, Ga. 31210, or the Alzhei mer's Association at 277 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Suite 201, Macon, Ga. 31201, or the Charity of one's choice.
