Mrs. Virginia Meyers (GLOVERVILLE, S.C.)

GLOVERVILLE, S.C.-Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia "Coot" Farmer Meyers, 77, of M and K Street, Gloverville, S.C., who died October 2, 2004, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Davis and Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating. Interment in the Langley Cemetery. Mrs. Meyers was a lifelong resident of the Valley Area of Aiken County. She was a Baptist, a former employee of the Graniteville Company and retired from Key's Catalog Showroom of Aiken. Mrs. Meyers was the wife of the late Mr. Albert Leo Meyers, Sr., mother of the late Bobby Ray Meyers, Sr. and mother-in-law of the late Stan Flowers. Survivors include two sons, Albert "Pedro" Meyers, Jr., Gloverville and Tommy Meyers, Windsor; three daughters, Cheryl Meyers Flowers, Beech Island, Toni Elizabeth Miles, Windsor and Patsy Meyers Franklin, Gloverville; two sisters, Betty Joe Clark, Aiken and Mary Ellen Smith, Warrenville; two sisters-in-law, Lois Meyers White, Windsor and Leona Key Farmer, Warrenville; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dan Connelly, Bill Hamilton, Michael Fields, Josh Key, Bryan McKenstry and Richard Myers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Monday evening from 6 to 9.
