Mrs. Ina Adams Bradberry (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mrs. Ina Adams Bradberry, 93, of Augusta died Saturday, October 2, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at Mann Memorial United Methodist Church with the Reverend Tom Compton officiating. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Bradberry, a native of Antioch, Alabama, lived in Augusta most of her life. She was a faithful member of Mann Memorial United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Edwards Sunday School Class. Mrs. Bradberry was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, a member of local, state and national Retired Teachers Association, and was a member of numerous civic and community organizations. She taught in several north Georgia counties before coming to Augusta in 1949. She taught at Bayvale Elementary until retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband B.B. Bradberry and her son, Edward Bradberry. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Charles (Sue) Gammill; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edward (Linda) Bradberry; grandchildren, Mr. David Bradberry, Mrs. Fernando (Leslie) Mastroianni, Mrs. Jessie (Stephanie) Covington, Mr. Jeff Elliott, Mr. Chuck Gammill, and Mrs. Jimmy (Candace) Jones; and eight great grandchildren. Pallbearers include, Mr. David Bradberry, Mr. Jeff Elliott, Mr. Fernando Mastroianni, Mr. Jessie Covington, Mr. Chuck Gammill and Dr. Henry Cobb.
