Mrs. Virginia Turner (HARLEM, Ga.)



HARLEM, Ga.- Entered into rest Thursday September 30, 2004, at her residence, Mrs. Virginia Hancock Turner, 82, wife of the late Mr. L.J. Turner, of West Boundary Street, Harlem, Ga. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2004 in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens, near Grovetown, Ga., with the Reverend Dave Sargent officiating. Friends may assemble at the graveside. Mrs. Turner, a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, was an Honorary Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Harlem United Methodist Church. Survivors include 3 sons, Phil Turner and wife Jeanne, of Augusta, David Turner and wife Penny, Rockville, Maryland, and Scott Turner, Columbia, South Carolina; 2 daughters, Beth Turner Ayers and husband Mark, of Plano, Texas, and Julie Turner, Newnan, Ga.; a brother, George Ewing Hancock, Memphis, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Lallie Bevins, of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Maidy Wheat, Phoenix, Arizona; 6 grandchildren, Patrick Turner, Melissa Turner , Susan Ayers, Shannon Ayers, Warren Ayers, and Andrew Ayers. Pallbearers will be Bubba Nash, Bobby Culpepper, Brian Culpepper, Tim Farr, Joe Wheeler, and Gene Sullivan. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Harlem United Methodist Church, P.O.
