Mrs. Nettie Mae Williams (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Nettie Mae Williams, wife of the late Robert Williams, Sr., of Golden Camp Road, entered into rest Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at the University Hospital. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. She was a native of Richmond County, a member of Summerville Baptist Church, President of the Summerville Senior Choir, President of the J.W. Barnes Gospel Choir, and Mother of the Church. Survivors are three sons, James D'Antignac, Augusta, Alfonsa (Pauline) D'Antignac, Washington, D.C. and Robert Williams, Jr., Augusta; two daughters, Earnestine (Rev. Marvin) Wilson, Sr. and Minister Barbara (Rev. Ronald) West, Sr., Augusta; one sister, Inez Barnes, Augusta; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, and nephews; a dear friend, Laura Cooper; 2 devoted careg ivers, Jessie Henry and Ora Norman. The Family will receive friends Monday evening at the Summerville Baptist Church 7 to 8 p.m. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
