Has your house been lovingly decorated with knickknacks from around the world? Are your rooms odd or otherwise unusual?
Every Sunday, The Augusta Chronicle profiles an area home on the cover of the Today's Home section. We're looking for a few good homes to profile and are looking for suggestions or nominations. Big or small, old or new, if you think it's interesting, we want to know about it.
Send nominations to: Today's Home, c/o The Augusta Chronicle, P.O. Box 1928, Augusta, GA 30903-1928; fax 722-7403; or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mindy Attaway and Todd Robinson always joked about wanting to be set up, but when his little brother and her cousin finally arranged it, the two realized their love was no laughing matter.
"I didn't think he was going to call me, but he called me that night, and we have not missed a day of talking ever since," she said. After that conversation, which lasted most of the night, she couldn't keep the news to herself.
"The next day I told a lady where I worked that I talked to this guy on the phone and I was going to marry him."
Three years later, her prediction came true.
The couple exchanged vows Saturday at Sacred Heart Cultural Center.
