The Columbia County Braves will host a USSSA Qualifying tournament for 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14 year olds at Diamond Lakes Complex Oct. 2-3. Entry fee will be $350. For more information, call Jeff Rice at (706) 650-1844 or (706) 722-7704.

The Greater Augusta Sports Council will present the fourth annual College Basketball Preseason Tip-Off Luncheon Oct. 11 at 12 p.m. at the Radisson Riverfront Riverfront Hotel in Augusta.
