Mrs. Isabelle Chance Wren (WAYNESBORO, Ga.)



WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Isabelle Chance Wren, 87 entered into rest Monday September 20, 2004 at the Burke Medical Center. Mrs. Wren was a homemaker and a beloved mother. She lived most of her life in Vidette. She was a member of the Gough Baptist Church for over 60 years. Funeral service for Mrs. Wren will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2004 at the Gough Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Dixon and Rev. Carroll Leopard officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Dhu Cemetery, Vidette. Mrs. Wren will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. to lie in state. Mrs. Wren was preceded in death by her husband, Farris Lamar Wren in 2000. She is survived by two daughters Jerrie Dixon and husband Wayne, Waynesboro, Anita Hillis and husband, Ashley, Savannah; two sons Farris L. "Buddy" Wren, Jr., Vidette, Phillip W. Wren, Waynesboro; two sisters, Doris Burroughs, Sardis, Jean Chance, Waynesboro; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbear ers are Ashley Hillis, Frank Lynn, Steven Dixon, Jeremy Wren, Brad Dixon, Bill Workman, Scott Wren and Brian Wren. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Smith, Ray Parker, Richard McDaniel, Allen Hess, Willis Collier, Jr., Manton Horton, Jr. and Dr. Harvey Sanders. A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday September 22, 2004 at the DeLoach-Kennedy Funeral Home Chapel.
