SEPT. 22, 1957

APPLING - McDuffie and Columbia counties will get together for a two-county pasture meeting Tuesday. It will get under way at 10 a.m. at the Winfield Community House. Those attending will be brought up to date on the latest information from the Experiment Stations.A panel discussion on pasture development and feed production will also be a feature of the program.

SACRED HEART EVENT: Sacred Heart Remembers will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Cultural Center, 1301 Greene St. Celebrate the heritage of Sacred Heart with members who have historical connections to the church. Admission costs $10 a person, $25 per family and free for members. For information, call 826-4700.
