Divas and Daughters
Girls Incorporated of the CSRA will present Divas and Daughters from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at The Old Medical College on Telfair Street. There will be entertainment, refreshments and a fashion show provided by SOHO and Village. Tickets are $40 per mother and daughter, and $5 for an additional daughter. Reservations are due today. Safe Homes of Augusta will hold its annual dinner at 6 p.m. Tuesday at The Pinnacle Club, 699 Broad St. The guest speaker will be Barbara Dooley, author, talk-show host and the wife of former University of Georgia head football coach Vince Dooley. The Best Chefs of the South dining series will feature chef Michael Tuohy, of Woodfire Grill in Atlanta, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Partridge Inn, 2110 Walton Way.
